What is the IUS High School Summer School? IUS High School Summer School
The International University of Sarajevo (IUS) opens its doors to hundreds of high school students every year through its English Language School (ELS). The IUS High School Summer School is a comprehensive abroad summer program that aims to develop not only students' English levels, but also their self-confidence, cultural awareness, and academic vision.
Hosted on the Ilidža campus of IUS — one of the most established private universities in the Balkans — students spend a summer immersed in modern infrastructure, experienced academics, and the unique natural and cultural environment of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The IUS English Language School (ELS) is the first and only institution in the Balkans to earn EAQUALS accreditation as a university English preparatory program. This accreditation certifies that international standards are met in terms of educational quality, curriculum, school management, assessment, and student welfare.
Every student enrolled in the program takes a placement test before classes begin. This ensures homogeneous groups are formed at A1, A2, B1, or B2 level, providing each student with effective training at their own level.
